Newton Hydrocoat 103 2K Cementitious Waterproofing Membrane – 30kg
Newton Hydrocoat 103 2K is a two-component, high-adhesion cementitious waterproofing membrane designed for demanding internal and external waterproofing applications. It is suitable for basements, water-retaining structures, podium decks, balconies, car parks, plant rooms and other earth-retained or trafficable concrete structures.
Combined contents are 30kg, with 3.2kg/m2 coverage & 2mm membrane thickness.
Hydrocoat 103 2K is supplied as a liquid component (Part A) and a cementitious powder (Part B). When mixed, it forms a high-build, durable waterproof coating with excellent chemical resistance and long-term performance.
Once cured, the membrane is capable of resisting very high positive and negative water pressure (up to 10 bar), making it suitable for use on both the water-exposed and reverse sides of structures. The cured coating forms a hard, UV-stable, trafficable surface with excellent adhesion to concrete, masonry and steel.
Hydrocoat 103 2K can be applied by airless spray or trowel, allowing rapid coverage on large areas. The thixotropic formulation enables application to vertical surfaces at high film thickness without sagging. For enhanced detailing performance, joints and changes of direction are typically reinforced using Newton Hydrocoat 912-RT.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is Newton HydroCoat 103 2K used for?
HydroCoat 103 2K is a two-component cementitious waterproofing membrane used for internal and external waterproofing of concrete, masonry and steel structures.
Can HydroCoat 103 2K resist high water pressure?
Yes. Once cured, it resists both positive and negative water pressure up to 10 bar, making it suitable for demanding waterproofing applications.
How is HydroCoat 103 2K applied?
The two components are mixed on site and applied by airless spray or trowel. The thixotropic consistency allows application to vertical surfaces without sagging.
Can it be applied to damp substrates?
Yes. HydroCoat 103 2K can be applied to damp (but not water-running) substrates.
Is reinforcement required?
For best performance, joints, cracks and changes of direction are reinforced using Newton HydroCoat 912-RT.
